At AMS Art Studio we live and breathe the benefits of leading a creative life every day.
For over 15 years our thriving studio in Wallsend has been filled 6 days a week with classes for kids, teens, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities, enjoying classes in drawing, painting, resin, ceramics, glass fusing, mosaics and more.
It is our mission to make quality arts experiences accessible to the whole community, not just those abled enough to visit the studio.
For this reason, we have created ART REACH: AMS Art Studio’s Outreach Program.
WHAT CAN WE OFFER?
Our program offers art making projects that can be brought to you in your home, care residence, or community hub. Our projects have been designed to offer you fun, engaging activities for all levels of experience at an affordable price. Starting prices for classes are based on a group of 6 or more participants and travel within 30km’s. For this price one of our highly skilled and friendly teachers will travel to your chosen location, set up for your chosen art activity, teach you and your peers for a two-hour art making session, offer guidance and support where needed, pack away the art activity, leaving you with beautiful handmade artworks, happy memories, and a tidy space just as on arrival. At an additional cost, we can also offer fully trained support staff for participants who require extra attention. For our one-off art projects, days of the week and session times are negotiable depending on your needs and our staff availability. If you are interested in receiving weekly, ongoing ARTREACH classes we can create individually tailored programs for up to 10 weeks at a time.
We will bring everything needed for your project to your home, care residence, or community hub.
