APRIL
Pint-Sized Pottery
Saturday 20th April 10am- 3.30pm
Welcome to a workshop where creativity knows no bounds - Pint-Sized Pottery! Immerse yourself in the delightful world of crafting miniature pottery masterpieces using our mini pottery wheels. In this hands-on experience, students will have the opportunity to shape and mold tiny clay wonders, exploring the intricacies of pottery on a charmingly small scale. From dainty cups to petite vases, the possibilities are endless.
Price includes mini pottery wheel!
Microwave kilns will be available for purchase on the day.
MAY
Basket Weaving
Saturday 4th May 9.30am- 3pm
Join our creative director Fee for the day learning the therapeutic techniques of weaving, forming a traditional vessel.
You will learn how to start, shape, decorate and complete a basket.
You will have a choice of shaped vessels, and what weaving medium you would like to use such as Madagascan palm raffia, paper twine, sari silk and more!
High Tea & Handbuilding
Saturday 11th May 10am- 12.30pm
Spend a relaxed Saturday morning and treat that special person in your life with a High Tea and Handbuilding experience.
Nibble from our high tea platter and enjoy creating beautiful kitchen themed items under the guidance of our experienced ceramics teachers. .
Our price includes all glazing and firing, as well as a yummy high tea platter.
Plant & Play
Saturday 18th May 10am- 12.30pm
Come plant and play in natures garden, design and build your very own terrarium!
You will learn about best soil and product types to make your garden thrive, designing and layout fun with all the fabulous plants and decoration choices we have.
Ceramic Saturdays
Saturday 25th May 10am- 12.30pm
Ceramic Saturdays are all about making fun projects and learning new skills!
Our one-day Saturday workshop allows you to have a taste of throwing on the wheel with an experienced ceramicist guiding you. Come in and have a go creating an artwork on the wheel whilst being in a fun and inclusive environment.
At the end of the session you may select up to two pieces to be dried, glazed, and fired by our trained ceramicists and ready for you to pick up.
No experience necessary, all materials and firing are included!
Wine & Wheel
Saturday 25th May 6- 8.30pm
Looking for that party with a difference, an occasion to be remembered? Why not try our Wine and Wheel?
Under the guidance of our experienced teaching staff, you will be guided to engage in the tactile experience of wheel throwing.
We provide a grazing platter, you BYO bubblies.
JUNE
Go Nuts for Donuts 3 day workshop
Saturday 15th, 22nd & 29th June 6- 8.30pm
Did you know that the wheel isn’t only for throwing pots!
That’s right, our 3-day Donut workshop is for those who have some wheel throwing experience and wanting to expand on those skills.
Session one will be spent learning how to throw a ceramic donut vase on the wheel.
Session two will be trimming on the wheel and refining your donut ready for bisque firing.
Session three our qualified ceramicists will demonstrate a wide range of glazing and surface decoration techniques that will ensure you create a unique piece of art.
All clay, glazes and firing costs are included, all you need is your wheel throwing skills, imagination and apron and be ready to have a “donut hole” lot fun!
